The results are in from our new starter survey 2022
Our biggest asset is our people. So when it comes to creating a great, supportive environment to work in, their ideas, opinions and concerns matter to us, which is why we ask for regular feedback.
The results of our most recent new starter survey are testament to the quality of our team and the focus we place on our people. We’re exceptionally proud of the overwhelmingly positive response.

When asked about culture, all our respondents said they’d had a positive experience, with more than two thirds saying their ‘experience of the culture had been excellent’. We believe in creating an inclusive culture where people feel they can bring their whole selves to the workplace, so we’re delighted with this result as we continue to create an environment which fosters this.
When we asked our new starters to describe Clarke Willmott in three words, a common theme ran through the responses: friendly, supportive and welcoming. We thank all our colleagues for their hard work in upholding our core values to make such an impact on all our new team members.
Our commitment to people
At Clarke Willmott, we’re constantly asking what else we can do to help our employees thrive, learn and develop and, by extension, do the best we can for our private and commercial clients. This feedback helps us to continually grow, ensuring our people are always at the heart of what we do.
We recognise that work is about so much more than earning money. – it’s where people have the opportunity to grow, develop and make friends while also juggling personal challenges. Engaging continually with our employees has informed the many wellbeing initiatives we believe are fundamental to a positive work/life balance. From fully hybrid working, social events and various sports teams, to mental health support and our family care forum – a support network for working parents and caregivers.
Having recently enrolled one of our biggest cohorts of trainee solicitors, we are excited for the diversity of thought they will bring and the opportunities it gives us to make Clarke Willmott an even better place to work in the future.
