Colmore Collective adds to committee
A Clarke Willmott lawyer is the latest to join the committee of a fast-growing network of emerging finance and law professionals in Birmingham.
Aidan Clucas, an associate in our corporate and commercial team, joined the Colmore Collective and is keen to help other committee members develop the group for the benefit of early-career professionals in the city.
Through organising inclusive and open events in the heart of Birmingham, the group hopes to help others grow their network at a vital stage of their career.
Aidan said: “I am delighted to join the Colmore Collective and look forward to getting involved with the organisation of events and activities.
“In the early years of a career it can be difficult to establish professional connections and even more difficult to find fun, engaging and worthwhile networking events. That’s what the Colmore Collective have been tackling, and I hope to encourage that even further.
“At Clarke Willmott’s Birmingham office, we have a strong team of junior solicitors and associates. I have no doubt this organisation will benefit them and others in the city.”
Aidan’s involvement was announced at the latest Colmore Collective event, a Spring Dinner, where attendees raised over £1400 for Birmingham Women’s and Children’s NHS Foundation Trust.
Doug Allan, co-founder of the Colmore Collective, said: “Together with the support of Clarke Willmott, we are extremely pleased to welcome Aidan as a new member of the Colmore Collective committee. Launched in late 2022, we are an independent network focussed on emerging legal, finance and M&A professionals, which hosts regular events and workshops in Birmingham. We are looking forward to Aidan’s contribution to growing and developing the Colmore Collective.”
