Working with us
Located in Botleigh Grange Business Park, our Southampton office has had a strong presence in Hampshire since 2002. With 65 members of staff including 13 partners, the office offers many areas of law but the biggest teams are in commercial property and corporate law.
The modern, open plan office has bookable sit/stand desks which are ideal for quiet, focussed work. Our spacious conference rooms and seminar spaces allow you to meet with clients either in-person or virtually.
The office is also in peaceful, rural surroundings making it ideal for a refreshing lunch time break or a casual, outdoor meeting. The office is regularly visited by some of Southampton’s best street food including delicious Thai food and a mobile gourmet burger van.
With a fantastic, relaxed culture, the Southampton office is known for its fun baking competitions, lunchtime pizza, quiz get-togethers and regular in-person yoga sessions. You can also look forward to an in-person monthly breakfast catch-up with colleagues over delicious pastries and coffee.

The office recently welcomed commercial property partner Nicola Sutton who has a wealth of experience in commercial and residential development.
Career Progression
Earlier this year we announced our 2024 promotions and were delighted to promote two senior associates to partner, one associate to senior associate and one solicitor to associate. Our work
Known for its high calibre work in mergers and acquisitions, our Southampton corporate team, led by Kelvin Balmont, has acted for clients on several local, national, and international deals. Most recently, the Corporate team advised on the sale of Southampton based Hilton-Baird Group.
With a strong presence in the retail and leisure sector, members of our Southampton office have acted for brands including Cornish Bakery, and Challenge Packaging.
