We have seven offices across the UK, including our city centre Manchester office that is just 10 minutes from Piccadilly Station in the heart of the city.
Working in our Manchester office
Opened in 2010, our Manchester office is a modern, open plan space that has spacious meeting rooms and plenty of desks for quiet focus time. Our business lounge enables a more relaxed environment to connect with your team and colleagues throughout the day and the offices’ central locations means there are lots of great places to grab lunch, take a break or meet with clients.
Our Manchester office also hosts regular social events for the team to get together including breakfast events, cocktails, and nibbles and even networking events that offer breath-taking views of the stunning Manchester skyline. Coming soon, our northwest office will be hosting weekly ‘Cake Wednesday’, regular team walks in and around the city and much more.
Our people
Over the past few years, our Manchester office has gone from strength to strength and our presence in the northwest hasn’t gone unnoticed. With the appointment of several new partners including Stephen Green, Billy Poulter, Louise Rogers, and Lynn James we’ve been able to continue growing a number of our sectors including employment, corporate, and commercial property. In 2024, we saw 8 of our Manchester practice areas rank highly in the Legal 500 Directory with a number of our individual lawyers listed as ‘leading individuals’ and Next Generation Partners. This growth represents a significant expansion of our offering in the north west and enables us to continue brining our expertise to our clients.
With just over 70 people based at our Manchester office, you’ll find a fantastic mix of sectors, and teams, enabling you to work with experts from across the firm.
Career progression in Manchester
Recently, we made several internal promotions at our Manchester office as part of our commitment to people development. These included three newly promoted partners from senior associate and one from associate to senior associate.
