Robert is a real estate lawyer with a particular specialism and development and development finance. Robert has been involved in several high profile transactions over the course of his career including the development of the O2 at Greenwich Peninsula, the redevelopment of the Royal Festival Hall on the South Bank and, most recently, the acquisition and development of Zurich’s new head office facility in Swindon. He has also acted for funds in relation to the acquisition of investment properties including hotels, retail and office portfolios.
Robert has acted for a number of commercial landlords and occupiers in relation to both office and retail premises. In particular he managed the retail portfolio for a major UK communications operator, and the UK office portfolio for two global insurance firms.
