Lara Saunders is a Senior Associate in Clarke Willmott solicitors’ Birmingham, Restructuring and Insolvency team. Lara works in both personal and corporate insolvency and has experience with both contentious and non contentious matters. Lara undertakes work for a local authority, Insolvency Practitioners and the Insolvency Service.

Lara works with Insolvency Practitioners, undertaking a variety of work. Her expertise include asset recovery such as, possession and sale applications including the residential conveyancing following the repossession of a property. Lara also advises on claims for preferences and transactions at an undervalue.
Lara advises the Insolvency Service on claims under the Insolvency Act 1986 and the Companies Act 2006 including directors’ breach of fiduciary duty, misfeasance, wrongful and fraudulent trading.
