Kelvin provides practical, commercial advice to enable his clients to get their transactions over the line quickly and efficiently.

Kelvin heads up the Corporate/Commercial and Banking Team in Southampton. Described by Chambers as ‘Highly responsive’ Kelvin advises companies and individuals on all types of corporate and finance transactions including mergers, acquisitions, disposals, investments, finance and shareholder arrangements.

Kelvin has particular experience of acting for technology businesses, manufacturers and has also acted on a large number of buyouts of IFA practices.

Kelvin joined Clarke Willmott in 2004 and was elected as its chairman in 2020.

• Acted on the sale of rFpro, a provider of driving simulation software to the motorsport industry and manufacturers, to AB Dynamics PLC.
• Advised on the £30m refinancing of Onecom Group by HSBC.
• Advised the shareholders of Import Services Limited on the sale of the company to AIM listed freight management services provider Xpediator PLC.
• Advised on the sale of garden tool manufacturer Burgon & Ball to Venapri Group.
