Joshua assists registered providers of social housing in disputes with their tenants.
Joshua has a depth and breadth of knowledge stemming from his involvement in landlord and tenant disputes going back to 2016. Joshua has gained experience of assisting and advising both landlords and tenants.
Joshua spent two years working in a city centre based law firm representing registered providers of social housing in disputes with their tenants. The areas which Joshua worked predominately in during this time period were housing disrepair, gas access injunctions and anti-social behaviour.
With regards to tenants, Joshua has volunteered with the Citizen’s Advice Bureau, Shelter and worked in private practice giving advice to tenants in housing disrepair matters, unprotected tenancy deposit claims and in unlicensed HMO properties.
These sector specific skills combined with general civil litigation practice from Joshua’s time in personal injury whilst on his training contract, make Joshua a strong housing litigator.
