Charlotte is a Chartered Legal Executive in Clarke Willmott’s Taunton Employment & HR team and assists employers on matters such as pursuing or defending employment tribunal claims, settlement agreements and negotiating exits, general day to day HR advice and reviewing and drafting employment contracts and handbooks.
Charlotte’s background and experience is largely related to contentious employment tribunal work and is able to support both businesses and individuals through the tribunal process. Charlotte has successfully pursued, defended and settled both via ACAS and judicial mediation.

- Bringing, defending and settling employment tribunal claims ranging from discrimination, unfair dismissal and whistleblowing.
- Providing advice to in relation to disciplinary, grievance, performance and sickness absence, redundancies, maternity issues and holiday pay issues.
- Advising on exits for a range of individuals including negotiating settlement and exit terms, drafting without prejudice letters, drafting and advising on settlement agreements and drafting scripts for employer clients to use in the meetings.
- Attending and conducting case management preliminary hearings and judicial mediation.
- Preparing and dealing with disclosure, case management and preparing cases for final hearing.
