Your wellbeing
Your health and wellbeing is of paramount importance. That’s why we have a range of initiatives designed to support you.
We’re also signatories to the Mindful Employer Charter and Mindful Business Charter.
Hybrid working
We believe in the power of good quality in-person time for building better relationships, learning, supervision, creative collaboration and culture. We equally value the focus and flexibility offered by remote working. We want everyone to successfully blend both. But it’s not one-size-fits-all. Instead, our hybrid approach means we empower teams to tailor the way they balance in-person and remote working to best support our clients while responding to colleague needs.
Social
We’re a sociable bunch. Each office has its own social committee and you’ll be invited to a range of events both in person and remotely, such as quiz nights, summer barbecues and Christmas parties. Then there’s the traditional Clarke Willmott First Friday of Fun where you’ll be able to get together with colleagues for a catch up. You’ll also have access to a growing number of staff led interest groups, such as crafting sessions, art groups and book clubs.
Sport, yoga and meditation
However you like to keep your mind and body active, you’ll be able to connect (and compete!) with other people who are on the same page. You will have the choice of various CW sports teams, a Strava running group, online yoga classes and guided meditations. Or if you fancy a stroll and a chat, some of our offices have walking groups.
Mental health support
Your mental wellbeing comes first. Our goal is for you to feel comfortable and supported, particularly when you feel out of balance. Your manager will be trained in promoting wellbeing and supporting their team. You will have confidential access to our dedicated team of trained mental first aiders and our employee assistance programme where you can find support.
We are a signatory to the Mindful Employer Charter and committed to raising awareness and promoting discussions on topics surrounding mental health and wellbeing.
Family Care Forum
If you are a working parent or caregiver, our Family Care Forum offers a support network where you can access information and meet fellow employees who are facing similar challenges. We also host regular family related events and webinars and offer a mentor scheme.
Wellbeing programme
You will be able to pick and choose from our programme of employee wellbeing webinars and courses. Past topics have included: financial wellbeing, pension education sessions, being a single working parent, prostate cancer and the menopause. When you join us, if there is something you’d like to see on the schedule then we’d love to hear your ideas.
