We are currently looking for an Associate/Senior Associate to join our Asset Management Team due to continued growth and success.

About the role:
Our asset management team, which handles the departments housing conditions claims, has a strong reputation within the sector and enjoyed significant success at trial defending claims on behalf of Social Landlords. This has led to an influx of instructions, including pre-litigation and litigated claims. The main focus of this role will be defending litigated housing conditions claims.
For this role you will be managing your own caseload of litigated hosing conditions claims as well as supervising the Junior Solicitors and Paralegals within the team, you will be well versed with drafting Defences and witness statements and preparing cases for trial.
This role is right for you if:
We are looking for someone with previous experience working in a Social Housing team, ideally having represented Registered Providers / Local Authorities. In addition to this we are looking for an individual with the following skills:
• Proven track record of conducting claims to trial.
• Ambition and a real interest in the social housing sector.
• Supervision of junior members of the team.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, being able to adapt your style to communicate effectively with a wide range of professional people.
• Enthusiastic about delivering excellent quality and service to clients.
• The ability to multitask on a varied caseload.
• Work well as part of a team and have a can-do attitude.
• Advocacy experience will be advantageous but is not essential.
