Sophie Bedwell

Sophie is a Senior Associate in the Commercial Property team in Bristol, with experience advising clients on a broad range of commercial property work.

Sophie specialises in landlord and tenant work and real estate investment. She gives high quality, consistent advice to commercial landlords and tenants across a range of sectors.

Sophie deals with a variety of transactions including acting for landlords and tenants on all aspects of commercial leases, dealing with acquisitions and disposals of real estate assets and general asset management. She also has experience in the telecoms sector dealing with the grant of wayleaves and telecoms leases.

Sophie joined Clarke Willmott in 2017.

• Dealing with the grant of new leases and licences, lease renewals and agreements for lease from both a landlord and tenant perspective across various sectors.
• Acting for a range of clients in relation to the acquisition and disposal of freehold and leasehold property.
• Managing a multi-let industrial estate dealing with new leases, renewals and supplementary documents.
• Acting on behalf of landowners and developers in the negotiation of options and leases for solar projects, including title review and investigation.
