Her experience includes bringing various claims on behalf of liquidators and trustees for misfeasance, wrongful / fraudulent trading, transactions at undervalue and preference payments. She has also carried out extensive enquiries of other firms/companies using the investigatory powers of the office holder.
Experience
- Bringing two successful section 236 applications against two firms of solicitors for their failure to disclose company information and documents to the liquidator.
- Advising a liquidator in respect of various claims against a director of a company disqualified for the company’s involvement in Missing Trader Intra-Community Fraud.
- Obtaining a summary judgment order for the joint liquidators of two companies to take possession and sale of a property that had been purchased by the directors using company funds.
- Acting for a private client on the restructuring of a £2 million debt owed to a major bank.
