Clarke Willmott completes on latest care home acquisition deal

National law firm Clarke Willmott LLP has completed on the latest in a series of care home deals.

Acting for the buyer, Healthcare Management Trust (HMT), the specialist team at Clarke Willmott advised on the acquisition of St Quentin Residential Home Limited, which operates three care homes.

The deal was a key strategic acquisition by registered charity HMT, which operates residential care homes and hospitals, to expand their care home offering.

The deal, led by Clarke Willmott partners Matthew Dootson and Simon Thomas, and also including partners Beth Evans (banking), Louise Rogers (employment), Rich Eldridge (corporate and banking) and Alex Walsh (commercial property), is the latest in a series of similar acquisition deals for the wider national Clarke Willmott healthcare team.

The Healthcare Management Trust is a registered charity delivering not-for-profit health and social care within England and Wales. The charity operates a number of independent planned surgical care hospitals as well as care of the older person homes in addition supporting other charities within the social care sector who together operate a further 340 social care beds.
