Rajinda has experience in a range of non-contentious property transactions from landlord and tenant work, acquisitions and disposals, corporate real estate finance and land development transactions.
Rajinda joined the firm in 2021 and has worked across a number of sectors advising public and private companies, retailers, and investors as well as financial institutions and housing associations. Working from our Birmingham office, Rajinda has a nationwide client base. Whilst Rajinda’s focus is on core real estate matters, she often provides corporate support assistance to colleagues in other offices.
Rajinda understands the importance of client service and the need to provide practical and pragmatic advice, with a view to securing long term relationships. Rajinda is also heavily involved in the “next generation” programme at Clarke Willmott which aims to connect junior professionals across the West Midlands and is part of the ED&I firmwide committee.
Rajinda’s expertise includes:
- Assisted on a hotel refinance worth a total loan amount of £74m
- Acted on due diligence exercises for potential acquisition sites for WMP and the acquisition of one site with a view to the site later being re-developed into a police station.
- Providing corporate support assistance on a range of matters including on a share purchase with a transaction value of £17m which involved 11 properties.
- Acting on a secured lending matter which involved a Canadian parent group acquiring a UK manufacturing business involving 3 UK manufacturing plants
