Kathryn is a senior associate in the Employment team based in our Taunton office. She is a personable, conscientious and commercially savvy lawyer who goes the extra mile for her clients, offering pragmatic, timely advice and support.
Kathryn advises on the full range of employment issues for private and public sector clients, including unfair dismissal, discrimination, Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment rights) (‘TUPE’), whistleblowing and all manner of employee recruitment, management, absence and exit issues.
From the outset of her career where she led an employment legal expense insurance department, dealing primarily with Claimant Employment Tribunal litigation, Kathryn’s practice and client base has steadily grown. She now acts for national and international clients across all sectors, including manufacturing, hospitality, tourism and leisure, financial services, education and real estate.

Experience
- Kathryn has supported a national property management company to successfully defend numerous challenging and complex Employment Tribunal claims, a number of which the Client had been unaware of and therefore missed the deadline for lodging its response.
- Kathryn has advised on a number of multi-million pound share and business sales and acquisitions for a number of international Clients.
- Obtaining a six figure Employment Tribunal award against a local government organisation in a constructive dismissal and disability discrimination claim
- Kathryn is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association. She has advised at her local Citizen’s Advice Bureau and she recently provided employment advice to a community consortium on a pro bono basis.
