He jointly heads up our sport sector, a key role given its external recognition by Chambers as, "a flagship department [within] the firm and a leader nationally".

Kevin's key area of expertise is in Human Resources, working closely with clients delivering clear strategic advice from the creation of employee relationships to the restructurings that have become common place in recent times. Overseeing all sports related human resources work serviced by a national team, he brings over twenty years experience of advising in the law coupled with a sporting heritage having represented Somerset CCC at Second XI level.

Whilst he personally specialises in higher end executive contracts and also acting in large scale reorganisations and reviews of employee contracts, his team are well versed in all aspects of HR matters. Working from all of our offices Kevin's team recent matters have included advising on policy procedures, contracts, terminations, outsourcing and transfers of business. Clients include The Queens Club, Bristol RFC, London Wasps RFC, Gloucestershire CCC, Bristol City FC, Swindon Town FC and Plymouth Argyle FC.

Closely linked to our dispute and regulatory teams, Kevin's experience has also involved working on regulatory matters within professional sport including ball tampering within cricket, disciplinary hearings with rugby and the application of FA rules within football.
